02.08. London City.
Trafalgar Square. Across the way is Canada Place, our Embassy. On the south side stands a building with „Canadian Pacific” written into the stone, and further on the west side, one with „Grand Trunk Railway”. It seems, we Canadians have not learned that it doesn’t pay to ship the money out of the country. These buildings stand as proof to the resource based history of our country. Thanks Innis and co.
What good would a London be without the hordes of tourists that make the other tourists all feel at home?
But underneath all the glamour, there is still a regular ciy living, albeit one permeated with brick. Brick, brick, brick, brick.
And of course, the art that brings the streets alive… all Hoxton area stuff.

pretty sure that’s the artist Swoon from New York.
See the hand???

nics pics!
what awesome photo shots, Dan!! Leaves lots of food for thought… will look and reponder later, but you found some uniqueness in London amongst all those live bodies! loved the “brick” especially!!
