The New Zealand BeeKeeper Part Two.
To my delight, The BeeKeeper once again used some of our pictures on front and back, although on the cover, subject and photographer are actually reversed!

Here, Dan is adopting the ‘I’m a little teapot’ pose, traditionally used by beekeepers to signal time for yet another coffee break.
Yes, in the heated world of the apiary, we resort to such methods of sign language. Gestures are an intricate aspect of beekeeping and the most commonly used one (in which someone raises their index and middle finger and makes an upward gesture towards unwanted persons) is little known in the world beyond beekeeping. It is a signal of peace, love and idyll, utilized in this instance, by me, in Brett’s general direction. Hope you’re well, PVC member.
HEY DAN!!!!!
How is your right hand?
What-ever do you mean by that Kathleen?
